Create an API Key

To get started with the CaptionKit API, you'll need an API Key. This is your way to keep your API requests safe and secure. You can generate an API key in the CaptionKit dashboard, within the Settings > Security panel.

Click Create API Key and give your key a label. In future, you'll be able to have multiple keys, so it's a good idea to give it a descriptive name.

Now that you have a key, click the button to copy it to your clipboard. You can now use this key to authenticate with the CaptionKit API.
